Ended up looking on Trip Advisor for restaurants in MK and went to one rated by them as 2nd in MK! Zen woburn sands - Chinese - OK but Martin gave it 5 and me 6 out of 10 - Trip advisor seems full of friends and family of owners e.g another top rated one where the food is not bad has only been open since November under new management so don't know how it has managed to do so well (The Plough Inn at Simpson)

Thanks Maureen - will try again tonight - had one pre Xmas meal at Jamie's that wasn't very impressed with - too stodgy but maybe this time (or maybe Raymond Blanc which I think is great but martin thinks is too expensive) Martin thinks Jamie's is not good value and looks institutional prefers the Tapas bar at Xscape which I agree is good value as they do special offers
